How Does a Brand Ambassador Effect SEO?

Brand Ambassadors can have a big impact on SEO.  SEO is Search Engine Optimization and while many people new to SEO think that meta tags and keywords matter a lot, in reality it is content creation and inbound link generation.

So why would a Brand Ambassador effect these things?

Well, one activity any Brand Ambassador should do is corporate blogging.  Blogging will produce search engine traffic because of more unique content.  This alone has a big impact, but search engines also rank sites on freshness of content, so the more frequent content additions will improve results.

Then linking is another major SEO factor that the Brand Ambassador can influence.  If they write good, interesting blog posts and they promote them via social media and other channels, this will result in people linking to it, and will boost the search ranking.

Social media as well is a measure of the popularity of a Website.  So if a Brand Ambassador generates links to the site in social media and other people repost these, then site will rank better and have more visibility.

These are all very basic, but they are also the things that can have the biggest SEO value if done consistently over time.  The Brand Ambassador does not need to be a Search Engine Optimization expert – they only need to do their ambassador job well.
